COVID19 – IPiphany is operating as normal

Updated: Apr 1, 2020

These are difficult and unprecedented times for all of us.

Our thoughts go out to everyone out there facing illness or dealing with lock-downs and social distancing. Also, our thoughts are with our clients and other businesses that will face financial and psychological stress during these times. We will get through this but need to be patient.

Information for NZ clients on COVID19 can be found at the following links:

In terms of IPiphany, we are used to remote working and so are able to continue business much as normal. However, a number of patent offices around the world are closed or operating at reduced capacity. This will mean that processing of applications and examinations will occur slower than normal and some deadlines may be extended where the relevant patent office is closed.

The NZ Intellectual Property Office is still operating much as normal as they have fully online systems and their staff can work remotely.

Please rest assured that we are monitoring all deadlines and will let you know if anything needs to happen to maintain your IP rights.

There’s often a silver lining to tragedies and we know that creative types such as yourselves will be motivated to invent over this period as myriad problems present themselves and you have time away from the daily grind of business. Just let us know when you have a brilliant idea!

If you have any queries or want to just have a chat about how things are, please don’t hesitate to call us.
